Even after all the blizzards we've had this winter, these surfaces were all pretty clear until today.... Wish we could have friends over to play in it with us and help us remember the fun parts of snowy days!
Jennifer... it is beautiful!! It's so abundant and creamy looking. I miss the silence that you can find only in a snowy world... everything insulated and hushed. And the sparkle... in fading light, or moonlight, the way each surface glints and shimmers. Is it the roll up kind? Light and airy? Dense? Yesterday a mosquito bit Geoff, and it's "cold" here! I know it must be getting old, but trust me: a new season will be on its way! We would love to be there with you, taking it all in!
It is the very wet, heavy kind; hard to deal with BUT ideal for building snowmen and forts and snowballs. Having it all out there does make the hot chocolate taste better somehow!
My son, then about 4 years old, was being his wild self right at bedtime. I said, "no more monkey business!" in my best stern-mom voice, and he looked me gleefully in the eye and declared, "infinity more monkeys!"
