Tender optimism

The forecasters are not exactly sure how much snow we'll get tomorrow, but they are warning us of a major storm and the area schools have already decided to close for the day. New England springs are not for the timid nor the tender, and having just spent such a warm summery week in Florida I feel my own capacity to cope wanning. But still, it has been a fairly mild winter for us overall this year, and even if this one beauty succumbs there are green shoots up all over ready to go full-on spring.
