Exactly! I treasure being in a place where a student can have the idea, go for it, and everyone respects and admires it -- with an underlying understanding of the beauty and requirement of impermanence. Here, it's on display for as long as the maker/artist determines is the right amount of time, with everyone having respect for what's reasonable and wonderful. Magic, really.
My son, then about 4 years old, was being his wild self right at bedtime. I said, "no more monkey business!" in my best stern-mom voice, and he looked me gleefully in the eye and declared, "infinity more monkeys!"
