183

We have just crossed over the half-way point of the year. I have nothing more profound to say about that, other than to acknowledge that it is true. More profound are the riches from Dean's large planters out back, where he artfully mixed vegetable and flower plants, and which I have harvested for starring roles in tonight's quiche.

A photo a day over at Chicken Blog, too.

Bravo! It had to be a fabulous quiche. Don't you feel connected, maybe "grounded," and kind of thrilled when you can add home grown to your meals? It gives me a thrill, even if it's a few herbs or one tomato. Nice... while Dean is away, his goodness will be there with you, from the garden to your dinner plate!
