I sat in tears for an hour or more watching the concession speech of McCain (his best, warmest and most positive speech in months) and then Obama's poised and eloquent acceptance speech.
What a joy! America can begin to hold its head up again with some pride, and a sense of hope for the future, after a dark period of divisiveness and small minded paranoia and xenophobia.
