hippity hoppity

Without any disrespect to the religious holiday, I believe "Easter" means "spring." I believe this in the way that I believe "Christmas" means "light." Our rituals guide us along a journey of hope and renewal and, well, chocolate. And that's all right; it's a process sacred in its own right, sacred for its annual repetition. Sacred for its memories and comfort. The sun is shining here today in an unmistakably spring-like way.

I find no offense in that. We keep the whole bunny thing seperate from the religious aspect by having the bunny come on Saturday, that way the religious part is more meaningful on Sunday. Happy Spring to you!
